Within the energizing reform project Peace and Freedom Organization held on October 28, 2020 the third discussion session on studying and discussing the draft of domestic violence law

‏ During the session, the benefit and importance of this law was raised and discussed and whether this law can reduce the phenomenon of violence and prevent violence, and what are the weaknesses and strengths in this law were studied, and also the obstacles implementing of this was mentioned, and find gaps in the text of the law, as well as  The attendees put forward recommendations and proposals on the law, and also put forward the most important recommendations on what are the most appropriate mechanisms and means to implement the law on the ground. 

This session was held in Al-Mosul governorate and in the presence of a number of civilian activists and human rights activists, as well as legal researchers.
