The central oil and gas law was supposed to be passed since the first year of the adoption of the Iraqi constitution, in 2005, but successive Iraqi governments have been slow to pass it, like other laws, based on the importance of this issue for citizens, the Peace and Freedom Organization held a fourth discussion session  About the oil and gas bill

The session included a discussion and studying of the extent of the importance of this law and its impact on the lives of citizens, and the weaknesses, strengths and obstacles to implementing this law on the ground were pointed out a number of laws indicated that there are gaps in the draft of this law.
