Shekhan Youth Leadership Council, an organization supported by the Peace and Freedom Organization, arranged its first town hall meeting on November 24, 2020, at the Shekhan Directorate of Youth and Sport. The town’s mayor, director of government agencies, and civil organizations all attended the meeting and the event was covered by media outlets. This meeting was focused on regional issues such as the lack of orphanages and the data surrounding the topic of concern. The conclusion of the meeting resulted in proposals from the various attendees on how to improve the matter.

Furthermore, the Shekhan Youth Council is an organization that includes young volunteers from the Shekhan area who desire to increase youth participation in decision-making centers.
