In the frame of  ASWATUNA’s project, and in partnership with Internews, Peace and Freedom Organization organized a five-day training for female journalists in Erbil. The activity started on December 7 and it will end on December 11, 2020. The participants are 15 female journalists coming from different provinces in the Kurdistan region. This activity is intended to train female journalists to become trainers on digital security and prevention techniques from cyber-attacks.

The ASWATUNA project is a long-term project focusing particular attention on gender and media. The project is implemented by Internews in Iraq and PFO is an implementing partner.
