Peace and Freedom Organization, with the support of the the Dutch organization, within the Musawat project, holded a festival  (Together to Build Peace) in the Al-Tareeq Library in Moda Mall - Kirkuk.

The festival contained several sections, the first was a dialogue session to learn about the religions and the religious symbols of the religions in Kirkuk, where the guest speakers where from different religions , and the second section was an exhibition of paintings representing the religions in Kirkuk and Iraq in ganeral, and the festival was concluded with Kurdish, Arab, Turkmen and Syriac playing music and dancing.

The attendees were from the religious and ethnic of Kirkuk.

The importance of such activities is to promote peace building and equality and to increase community information and culture about religious symbols
