With the participation of the Civil Society Police Department, lawyers, community researchers and civil society activists, the Soran Youth Council discussed the issue of young people being addicted to cafeterias.

 

This is the sixth dialogue of this council that was held on Tuesday, 9th of February 2021, in the hall of The Koorek private school in Soran.

 

In an activity, a topic about the addicted ness and style of the kinds, negative factors and factors on the people and solutions were the most important of which were: -


- Lack of community controlling by the community and the responsible parties
- Having space in individual life , as unemployment
- The important of educational positions towards developing individual awareness
- Globalising and re-building the community to the modern world
- Arrival of tourists
- Lack of supervision of the related parties for the cafeterias in the way of managing and providing the needs.


The participants then participated in the discussion, which was a number of suggestions and solutions to this issue, the most important of which were:
- Raising more awareness of the citizens
- Wear the clothes of the workers in the redress cafeteria
- By setting up special guards by the government, no access to people under the age of 18 is allowed
- Among cafeterias to prevent prostitution
- Changes in the way the cafeteria management, food and drinks should be made.


The Soran Youth Council, led by the Peace and Freedom Organization, includes 30 young people (15 girls and 15 boys) volunteers, who encourage young people to show more of their abilities and increase the spirit of volunteerism at the community.
