Background of the program

In partnership with IRC, PFO will implement this two-years project to support safe return, promote peaceful, sustainable reintegration into society and ensure durable solutions for those most impacted by conflict and displacement. This will be achieved through ensuring access to justice and equal rights for all and building social cohesion and peaceful co-existence within communities. Using a bottom-up approach, proposed interventions will be implemented at community, civil society, and institutional levels to minimize the many barriers to effective return, reintegration and rehabilitation. PFO will implement this project in partnership with IRC and four other Iraqi NGOs who each bring valuable technical expertise and deep contextual knowledge and networks. Through this project, the capacity of governmental and non-governmental actors will be strengthened.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Project Manager must have experience working in the field and with staff as well with volunteer youth. Has experience in writing narrative report for the donner and submit to the donner on time as well attending meeting with the donner. In addition, leading all the project activities.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:

  • will report to the partner on planned and achieved activities, and on planned and achieved results in accordance with the schedule for reporting in the contract. where the partner will send a template for narrative reporting upon request.
  • commits to keeping original documents of the project such as attendant lists, information of the participants, etc.) and sent a copy to the partner with the narrative report.
  • Implement\ organize the activities according to the Project Plan and budget
  • Attend meeting with the partners and update about project progress   

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.
  • Expert computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc).
  • Arabic and English language required and Kurdish is plus
